Gundagai, New South Wales

Established: 1997

Aim: Quantify the inter-relationships between human disturbance, landscape-based management intervention, and changes in vegetation condition and biodiversity response.

Key research questions:

  1. What are the relationships between vegetation condition and biodiversity?
  2. How does management intervention (e.g. plantation establishment) influence the response of biodiversity?

Surveys

  • Frogs, reptiles, mammals and birds are surveyed every two years.
  • Vegetation plots are measured approximately every five years.
